Arrived in Charleston for a week's stay. Had the weekend to explore and shop and eat. The weather is crazy and Sunday there was a bad storm that caused alot of worry with high winds up to 60 mph. We were fine, but it was rocky. We attended alot of seminars about the trip and mets lots of people who are doing the loop this year. I really enjoyed the Looper Crawl where you get to go in other people's boats for a tour. It' was neat to see the many types of boats people live on. We heard from a couple on a little 24' and visited a luxury 64'. I met a lady that collects sea glass and makes her own jewelry from it. I might have to go beachcombing...
